How to make green glossy logo in Illustrator?
Logo Design for Beginners.
In this tutorial we are going to show you how to easily create green glossy logo design using Adobe Illustrator CS5.
Open Illustrator and create New Document by clicking on File > New… or using keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+N. New Document dialog box will appear.
In Name box type name of document, e.g. “green_glossy_logo“. From New Document Profile drop down list select Web and from Size drop down list select 1024 x 768.

Activate Type Tool (T) by using T key on keyboard. From Character tab set EurostileExtended-Roman-DTC font. Set font size to 110pt and leading to 100pt.
Click on artboard and type name of company. In this case, it is “green innovations”.

Activate Selection Tool (V) by using V key on keyboard and select text. While company name is selected, change fill color to R=139, G=197 & B=63.

While text is still selected, change stroke color to R=98, G=123& B=53 and stroke weight to 1.5pt.

From Effect menu click on Stylize > Drop Shadow…and change Offset to 3px for both directions, Blur to 2px and Darkness to 70%.

Use Pen Tool (P)by entering P key on keyboard and draw shape of icon for logo.
Using Pen Toll
From Effect menu click on 3D > Extrude & Bevel… and change Position to Front, Perspective to 40%, Bevel to Rounded and Height to 2pt.

Change Fill Color to R=249, G=236 & B=49.
Use Type Tool (T) to make “g” letter. Set font family to EurostileExtended-Roman-DTC and font size to 160pt, click on artboard and type “g”.
Use Rounded Rectangle Tool to make point on the “i”. Activate Rounded Rectangle Tool and click on artboard. Rounded Rectangle dialog box will appear. Set following options: Width: 20px, Height: 15px & Corner Radius: 5px and click OK.
Move “g” and “point” in its place with Selection Tool (V).

Use Selection Tool (V) and select “g” letter. While is selected, click on Type > Create Outlines from menu or use Shift+Ctrl+O.
While “g” is still selected, hold down Shift key and click on “point” rectangle. Click on Object > Group from menu or use Ctrl+G.
From Effect menu click on 3D > Extrude & Bevel… and use same settings as for green icon.
Now use Ellipse Toll (L) to make shadow. When it drawn, click on Gradient tab and select Fade to Black and Radial type and from Transparency panel set Opacity to 60%.

We can now make light effects using same method as for shadow. Draw ellipse in front of green icon and make Gradient from white to black. Than make Transparency to Screen and Opacity to 40%.

Add three more ellipses with same Gradient and Transparency options.
Adding More Light Effects
Last thing we need to make is to add glossy effect.
Use Pen Tool (P) to draw shape with White Fill color and change Transparency to Screen and Opacity to 20%.
