How To Create A Twitter Background In 5 Steps

Why are background images so important?
If you’re using Twitter to promote yourself or your company, then you need your profile page to make a good first impression. Twitter offers a handful of simple formatting options for customizing your profile page, and one of those is the option to use a custom background image. Mobile users and users of Twitter clients will unfortunately not see these backgrounds, but many people still use Twitter.com, so it’s important to make sure you have a good background!
Step 1.
Download Twitter background template:

Step 2.
Open Twitter background template file (twitter-bg-template-by-futzure-engineering.psd) in Adobe Photoshop.

Step 3.
Make your design in “YOUR DESIGN” layer group.

Step 4.
Turn off TWITTER CONTENT” layer visibility and save background by clicking on File – Save for Web… or Alt+Shift+Ctrl+S.
Select JPEG High from Preset and click on Save.

Step 5.
On Twitter Design tab click on Change Background button and Choose existing image.
Uncheck Tile background, set Background Position to Center and Save Changes.
